It seemed to only take his smile to settle Siren enough so that she could comfortably come and join him. Her hesitance stung a bit, but he couldn't blame her. He knew that he was unpredictable. He couldn't control himself sometimes, but he would never hurt her. Not physically for sure. Mentally, he would try not to. Having Aliana, the slave girl all to himself, that would keep Siren physically safe. It was what Dalila had been purchased for, but the woman weaseled her way into his sisters affections and had changed her fate. Siren placed a few plump, white shrimp before him and Chi took one, popping it into his mouth. He chewed thoughtfully and gave a nod. Shrimp had an interesting taste. A little sweet, a little meaty. He liked them. Fish though... he could do without fish. Most food that came from water smelled horribly. Fish, turtles, mussels. He remembered the stinking whale on the beach and a little shudder ran through him. As he ate a second shrimp, Siren thanked him for his hard work. Chimera rumbled low, accepting the compliment. "I dug a deep cache for food storage so we don't have to use the one on the mainland. It's surprisingly cold, so the food should keep." Surrounded by the ever moving ocean, it seemed that the earth of their island was kept quite cool. "Next I'll be cleaning up the area around the stream. With that perfected, you'll never have to leave the island." She had to know by now that this was what he wanted, but if she didn't, there it was... out in the open. "Speech" |
Chimera is a very adult character and takes part in very adult situations. Don't read his threads. Ever.
Chi has three black Tibetan Mastiff's as guards. Assume they're very close by.
