Dual toned eyes watched Chimera as he carefully picked up one of the shrimps and chewed in appreciation. She already knew he didn’t like fish, after living on an island chain most of their lives it was often a food source and he never touched it. Chi did seem to appreciate her little lunch so far, the shrimp were acceptable at the very least. She smiled shyly as her paws worked to reveal the second course. One of the wolves living in the pack, or maybe two even, had some golden pheasants. These animals could be found wild here on the island because of it and Siren harvested a couple of the smaller birds to produce some of the reddest breast meats she had ever seen. She used these filets to arrange little roses made from flesh.
Siren slid them towards her brother as he spoke, they had food storage and soon enough fresh water. There would be no more need fo there to set paw off the island. The way Chimera spoke sounded ominous. Siren knew he didn’t want her out and about without escort and he always worried far too much. He was stating plainly though, she shouldn’t leave the island anymore. The blunt revelation felt stifling at first, but she knew how hard he worked to create this perfect island paradise for her. He wouldn’t have to worry about her if she was always here.
"Your work is never done,” She commented with a little teasing smile as she tried not to think about the restrictions he needed her to live by. She had everything she wanted or needed here. Food, water, shelter…. Dalila. This was her home, and she could be happy to reman here, it was a small price to pay for everything Chimera did for her. "But the island couldn’t be more perfect.” She offered recently with a tiny grin playing on her pale lips as she cocked her head slightly and looked up to him.
