Manea knew she was driving Alastor crazy, but that's exactly what she wanted - even if it was maddening to her as well. The whole trip to the south she hadn't allowed him to have her. She did at least relieve him in other ways a couple of times, but she wanted him frustrated and pent up for what he had planned. The only issue with that was that she was having a hard time finding the victim for her plans and now that they had been in the warmer parts of Boreas for a couple of weeks now she was starting to get desperate herself. The fact that her heat was quickly creeping up on her didn't help matters either.
Hoping to blow off a little steam and snag them some dinner at the same time, she brought him out to a wide expanse of barren hills, following the scent of some sheep. The trail was pretty easy to follow with the gentle breeze that kept them down wind of the creatures and the large, fluffy clouds that kept them mostly in the shade and kept them from baking in sun. "Ah, here we go," she commented under her breath as she crested a hill and spotted a few large, horned sheep in a valley bellow them. She crouched down and watched them for a moment. It looked like one ram and three ewes milling about, combing their way across the landscape to eat any patch of grass they came across. "Any fancy footwork this time, my love? Or shall we just go rip them apart?"
