Chimera licked his lips and seemed satisfied as he finished the arranged rose breasts. Siren felt accomplished that she had brought a smile to his maw. He kissed her crown and uttered his appreciation despite the meal being unfinished. There were more flavors to explore but she wasn’t very determined in her efforts to complete. Chimera spoke again, speaking about her being stolen from him. Siren’s dual toned gaze lingered at the ground, remembering soberingly the time they were apart. The gnawing was worth being with him, but being kept in the Armada had been a tortuous experience. Mortis tried his best but she would have never been comfortable in the Armada.
She raised her bright eyes back to his, the corners of her lips tugging back into a delicate grin. ”I am,” she assured him as she lifted a dainty paw to his cheek. She loved Dalila but Chimera was her ultimate protector, the one wolf she could rely on no matter what happened. The one who was always in her corner even when she couldn’t see clearly herself. He leaned forward and kissed her again, but followed up by pulling her closer. Siren didn’t resist his massive paw as he held her tighter.
Siren went willingly and pulled herself closer to his chest, her tiny pink toes curling into his dual toned fur as she buried her face into his neck. He wasn’t often so affectionate, but Siren took advantage when she was able. She felt safe in his strong embrace, and despite his rough exterior Siren felt loved as she was embraced warmly. Chimera spoke again and his deep voice rumbled through her whole body. She inhaled sharply as she listened to his quieted voice. He was leaving, and he needed her to stay on the island. Her, the two slaves, and she assumed Viper, the only other resident.
Siren didn’t like the idea of being sequestered here with Viper, but had to assume the arrangement wouldn’t be much different than the current. She minded her business and Viper did the same. Chimera asked her to promise as he squeezed her lightly. Siren grabbed hold of him a little tighter as he did so, there wasn’t any hesitation in her voice. There wasn’t much likelihood she would need to go out and search for herbs while he was away. ”I promise.” She vowed into his soft fur. ”Be careful,” she asked of him in a soft whisper. ”You have to come back.” She didn’t know where or why he was going, but she needed him to return to her.
