Things had felt a bit awkward for her since the band left and began their travels, but being free of her mother again had been a relief. Adhira had told her that she would be looking for others in these lands, to see if any of her followers had found their way back to her. The thought of other Amanta being here made her nervous, and she tried to soothe herself with the thought that it was unlikely with all the places in the world they could have ended up. Still, Adhira had found her way here and it was very possible there could be others, and if they didn’t come to her on their own, she wouldn’t be surprised if her mother went out to hunt them down and bring them here herself.
She tried to push those thoughts from her head, instead focusing on trying to find something to do. Some way to make herself useful. Maybe she could find some herbs to try and study, and hopefully she could find some time with Indigo to have him teach her a few things. She was so focused, she didn’t immediately recognize that painfully familiar scent, but once she did, she froze. Her throat tightened, her stomach flipping in her abdomen. The anxiety she felt around the other members of the band seemed like nothing and she wanted nothing more than to run and find one of them. It didn’t matter who, as long as it would keep her away.
She couldn’t move, though. Her limbs seemed to be made of stone, her gaze sweeping the area around her frantically as she waited for that dark purple form to materialize from the shadows. Violette. She had always been volatile and Cosette wasn’t sure that age would have mellowed her out. And beyond that, if Vio was here, that meant the Amanta were in fact finding their way to her safe haven. A quiet whimper slipped from her lips, her tail tucking close to her body as she finally broke free from her panic enough to turn and attempt to make her way back to safety.
