From the moment the band had left the sanctuary of the castle, Emersyn had been on high alert. Beyond knowing there was a constant looming threat over herself, the road alone could be perilous and fraught with danger. As the band's chief means of security beyond Indigo, she felt personally responsible for the safety of every living being in it. She stayed close to the rear of the pack, making sure nothing tried to flank them while Indy led them up into Boreas, then eastward toward the coast. They set up camp near some falls, close to one of the packs. That gave Em some comfort. If they were ambushed and needed help, surely at least someone would respond if they called, right? While the band got settled in, Emersyn had begun a patrol around the forest near the falls, checking to make sure there were no lingering threats anywhere. She had been up near the top of the falls and scoping out the terrain when Indy's call went out.

At first, Em had been panicked that something was going down, but there was a noticeable lack of alarm in their leader's howl. No, nothing was wrong, he was summoning everyone for some reason. Peering down the cliffside at the band down below near the base of the falls, she spotted Indigo's massive purple form with a small dot of tan. With a curious cock to her head, Emersyn made her way back down the cliff, nimbly bounding from ledge to ledge to make short work of the trek. She walked the last bit down to join the rest of the band as they assembled to greet the newcomer. Duo-toned eyes considered the small fae while she hovered near the back of the group. The woman was much, much smaller than Indigo, though her body looked as if she'd spent every day since her birth training for war. She was pretty though, and her violet eyes were striking. Her scent was heavy with the smell of the nearby pack, but it was also faintly reminiscent of Indigo's.

She didn't need to be a super sleuth to piece together who this was. She could tell from the way Indigo looked at her, the admiration and love in his eyes so heavy he appeared drunk with the emotion. This was Aslatiel, his sister and his soul mate. Emersyn didn't introduce herself right away, always on guard, letting Indigo make the introductions as their leader should. She was intrigued by the fae's presence though. She knew the two had been forbidden from being together—was she defying rules and sneaking out to be with them? No... to be with him?
