all i've ever wanted

Her breathing calmed as the two of them relined onto the ground after an incredible experience. Sirius held onto her still, the warmth of him keeping the chill from her. She leaned back against him as he reached for a kiss and Deathbelle relinquished her lips to him. She was so eager for love like this, se needed his touch, his devotion, and his love. He didn’t know it, and she wouldn’t ever admit it, but he saved her life. He held her tightly and she basked in the afterglow of her heart’s desire. He was everything she had ever hoped and dreamed of, her whole life, there was not an ounce of disappointment or regret.
She started to shiver and Sirius released her, quickly tidying the items they spared no thought for as they gave into their desires. Her mind was finally allowed to rest, to be soothed simply by his presence as Sirius mended her from the inside out. Starting with her shattered heart. Belle too found her paws, though a little shaky still she lifted herself to her haunches and wrapped an arm around herself as she shivered lightly. Sirius reminded her of the picnic they’d abandoned but she didn’t feel hungry for much but him.
”Grab the mead,” she gestures lightly with a mischievous grin. Her voice still breathy from exertion and the cold. ”And join me in the water.” She finished softly as delicate paws carried her back towards the warm water. She sure hoped her companions would return with furs to dry off with. Deathbelle slipped elegantly back into the water, knowing this dip would be so much different from the first. She was like a new woman this time, the aching in her heart had disappeared, and her dark features displayed a warm smile.
