Have We Lost Ourselves

With the dogs tied up for the haul, Viper started to make her tracks that looked like they were going back to Ashen. Chimera had stopped her though, making her turn back around to face him. Her eyes flicked for a moment while she had expected him to say or do something, but she quickly pulled a smile over her features before motioning with her head to follow.

Chimera could have been eager, not that Viper would have noticed. But she tried her best to lure him towards the springs. At least she had started leading him away from the pack after a few strides, maybe that gave him enough patience to wait and follow.

When they arrived at the springs, she removed her armor quickly and immediately ventured down into one of the pools, the dogs taking a seat with the kill in the close distance. With a small splash, she gently paddled to the edge, her front paws climbing up against the wall and she turned back to look at Chimera, hoping he got the hint.
