She continued to be pleasantly surprised by how well Alastor followed along with her teachings and how easily he agreed to the lessons within them. She knew he had issue with the killing of the pups, that was something he had made very clear from the day that she began their relationship, but he was even willing to do that for her. His dedication, his love, and his loyalty were so unwavering that it astounded her. Hearing him speak so naturally about the strength given by the Ancients to their children more than she had expected it would, and she found herself wearing a genuine grin while she went on with her teaching. Her paws continued to rub along the back of his neck, playing with his plush black fur all the while.
"One part of making the best union to produce pups from is finding our soul mate. For Mendacium wolves, that's more than just someone you're compatible with. We believe that there is always one wolf somewhere in the world that is born with an Ancient soul that is matching to ours outside of Mendacium blood. I was always told growing up that when I found my soul mate, I would know. I hadn't really understood what they meant... until I met you." She grinned again, her aqua gaze shining with a grateful joy and love that she felt for him and him alone. Her paw brushed against his cheek, leaving a tender kiss on his lips. "You and I were always meant to be together. Our souls have always known each other. You were given all of these gifts... these magnificent obsidian eyes, your striking crimson markings, your strength and ruthless power... all to ensure that when we bring our children into the world they are destined to be the best our family has ever seen."
She chuckled softly, letting her claws scratch fondly through the fur around his ears, holding on to this demon that she adored so much and loved with all of her heart and soul. "Not every soul mate pairing results in love and marriage... It would be ideal if that were the case, but if we hadn't fallen in love like we had then there would be no real consequence for it. We could have loved whoever we chose, as long as we still only had pups with one another. I have seen times when one of my family members found who they believed to be their soul mate, but they refused to agree to those terms and they had to settle for someone else or go their lives without having their family. But us... We have everything and more. You are my perfect soul mate, a perfect father for my children, and you have given me the love and passion I always desired."
