ooc; because I fail at life and forgot this D: my badddd
He had hoped that perhaps she would turn out to be a figment of his imagination sent to torture him further, but as she spoke and replied to his sarcastic comment he knew she was real. A growl bubbled up from his abdomen, but he kept it there, letting it swell and vibrate - but release no sound. "The ever-modest, Medusa.." It was more a comment for himself than for her, but it was spoken loud enough for her to hear if she were paying any attention at all. Her very presence here was not wanted, but it was obvious enough to him that he couldn't run her off. She believed she belonged here, and he was smart enough to see that he would never change that belief. "You are nothing to my children other than an antagonistic harlot, and you will remain so as long as I have a say in it." It was foolish to argue with her and he knew it, but there was something relaxing to getting some of the angst out of his mind and into the air.
The grumble that had been bubbling and frothing within his gut soon found its way up his trachea and through his cavernous jaws. "Don't you have a home of your own to haunt?" He'd heard through the grapevine that the woman had taken up Queenship over Amenti - something he was both surprised and amused by. He had assumed that the duties of queen might keep her annoying meetings at bay, but it seemed it would result in the exact opposite. It seemed nothing worked in his favor anymore.
