Dual toned eyes scanned the entrance of the cavern, the stone was dark and mottled and the smell that blasted his nose was damp and dark.Ysmir couldn’t wait to explore some more. He hadn’t been so certain of his sister’s suggestion but now he felt much more curious and eager to see what was out there. Massive dark paws carried him after Dag his dark ears perking with interest as she spoke and her voice echoed off the walls of the cave. He was almost more interested in the sound than the artifact that she was pointing out to him.
Ysmir whined softly, trying to get his sister to speak again before he followed her towards the old wood… thing. He couldn’t begin to guess how it had gotten here, but it was familiar to the barn that he spent much of his time in. The way the boards were cut into pieces and attached together to create something very different from the natural state of a tree. Ysmir lifted a paw and pushed against the boat, watching as it rocked back and forth on its tapered base.
