The other girl shot back a response that held just as much confidence as Celosia’s. Quickly, she spread her legs out, lowering her body to shift her center of gravity so that if the blue pup came at her head, she would be harder to knock over. She dropped her head to protect her chest, eyes narrowed as the girl suddenly bolted forward. The fiery pup didn’t attempt to jump out of the way, wincing as jaws caught her leg. She moved her head to the left, away from her opponent, before swinging it back towards her rib cage, aiming to use the hard horns atop her head to try and knock the breath out of the blue wolf. She wasn’t trying to hit hard enough to crack ribs or anything, but she did hope to knock the breath out of her.
