Jane has been feeling better, more like herself. Eska's advice was to help Jane get through the sadness, feeling like she could do it. She wasn't alone, and she had to be strong, strong for those who she loved. And as the evening was turning night, the yearling wasn't done yet, she had things to do still, from getting the kills into the kitchen to organize and perhaps make dinner, well cooking was still a very fresh ability, one to master. But with the renewed enthusiastic nature of hers, she was happy to do it. And no obstacles were going to get on her way. And like that she tried to carry a dead pig to the kitchen, hopping to make something with it though she yet didn't know what. And she hopped whoever would eat her stuff would like it. But what about fish? She had the catfish she caught with Eska, and perhaps she could do something with them though she wasn't able to make her mind yet. |
