Kali and her siblings had grown over the past seasons and were quickly approaching their first birthdays. Soon, they would truly start vying for the seat next to their mother that would catapult them to the one true heir. And by them, she of course meant herself. Wendi was crazy, Misery was lazy, and her sister...well, she was soft to put it gently. She was sure her mother could see that already, could see that she was the one that would be the most fit to take her place in the end. Until it was announced, however, she needed to keep an eye on her siblings. So, when Carnage’s scent led out of the territory, of course she followed.

She snaked along behind. Abbadon, her melanistic spitting cobra, curled along her neck in his usual spot and Abigor, her Nile monitor, trailing at her feet. Soon, the smell of the sulfuric spring water permeated the air and warmed the environment around them. The ground began to become wetter than before with all of the rain that had swept in with the Fall and small ponds of the springs began to form. Her auds shifted forward as she caught the sound of an unidentified voice and she quickened her steps, her fluffy tail raising and her chin lifting as she rounded a corner to find her sister having dipped into the hot springs and another girl not too far away.

She looked a bit like a reverse raccoon, if Kali were perfectly honest, with light grey markings over her eyes and the lower half of her body cloaked in the same coloration. She was just a hare taller than the chocolate colored Klein, but around the same size as Carnage and with a copperhead snake curled around her neck much like Aba was. This intrigued the girl, seeing as she’d never seen anyone else other than her mother and herself with a snake companion.

Kali slipped into the pool gracefully next to her sister, Abaddon and Abigor following suit. Her bicolored gaze turned to look at the stranger with curious but clear eyes, a demure smirk on her lips. “Hmm, 6 may be a crowd, but I suppose us girls can make it work,” she replied, inserting herself into the conversation deftly.
