Girl Problems

Hana had told Sparrow she'd get back to her, but then all that had happened was radio silence. Had she been too vocal? Too pushy? Too vulgar? Sparrow had felt like they were on the same page. She felt that it would have only been a few days at most before the koi woman bounded back and gave her a answer. Sparrow was willing to accept either answer as long as she could still hang with Hanako, so why the avoidance? Why the silence?

On the rare occasion trouble clouded Sparrow's mind, there was one person she knew she could turn to.

"Tyyyyyyr," Sparrow called as she flung herself dramatically to the ground outside of her Uncle's den. "I'm dyiiiiing."
