every rose has its thorn

She knew the power behind his eyes, could see the wild way they glittered in the low light and the soul that could hardly be contained behind them. This was a great spirit, she should be trembling beneath his gaze and she very nearly did. The way he looked at her she could see the admiration but more so the gaze of a true predator beneath. Like if she moved the wrong way, or denied his request, she would be eaten alive right here. That feeling only intensified as he stood before her. Siren always knew the visions and dreams she had were influenced by the spirits around her, but they had never manifested like this before.
He reached out a paw to touch her and Siren forced herself to remain still. His huge form and close presence made her heart stop and catch in her throat along with her shallow breathing. "Siren Primrose Klein.” She gave him the full extent of her name as he closed the last few paces between them. Siren couldn’t help but look up at him, even from her pedestal he towered over her. In reality she was at the mercy of this divine being, and yet he seemed to be the one in awe of her. "What may I call you, Lord?” She asked, her voice breathless now as he stood before her.
Carefully he lifted his paw to grasp gently against her pale cheek, Siren didn’t flinch at his touch, but relaxed against him slightly at his soothing words. Siren was not lying to him, but she was no fairy either. Not that she could correct him as he took her breath away when he tipped her jaw upwards. She could feel the well controlled power he held bridled beneath and didn’t resist as he pressed his lips to hers and stole not only a touch but a passionate kiss. A soft whine left her lips as he parted them, she was new to such an experience and innocent when it came to the more primal aspects of life. Her eyes widened in surprise but she relented to his will. How could she deny such a powerful water spirit?
