There was some lightness in knowing that Hanako had accepted her place with him and his with her, and while he may have put up a bit of a false fight on letting her wander he was happy to accompany her and her wanderlust. It wasn't a phenomenon that made much sense to him, Azure was a hunter and a fighter but not much a navigator. He was happy to remain in consistent habit and routine back in the Armada, but he knew from his mother's ways that some wolves grew bored of the same scenery day after day. If Hana asked it of him, he'd take her across all of Boreas. These small adventures just reassured him further that Hana was not preparing to run.

While this was a time of relative happiness and relaxation, Azure remained on edge still as they travelled north. The territory here was not one he and his mother had crossed on their journey, but the last time he'd escorted a woman north she'd been taken from him. Hanako was nowhere near the skill level of Zee, if enemies found them here.. Azure didn't want to think about it, or the fire that had prevented him from rescuing her.

Az blinked, his koi-wolf's persuasive tones snapping him out of his memories and back to the present. Hana had her head turned towards him and was playing to her strengths with an innocent batting of her lashes. The Fatalis heir gave her a knowing smile, shaking his head in gentle rebuke but moved alongside her regardless.

Hana had found an entrance within the mountain, hidden away behind an door that was out of place in their world. He gave her a critical glance, nostrils widening as he too took in the scent. "My, my, someone is feeling impervious today." The comment was off-handed and relaxed, but Azure's hackles were beginning to raise. He pushed past her gently, intentionally brushing his head alongside her cheek as he approached the cracked door. The space between the door and the mountain was too small to fit his body, so he settled for wrapping a heavy paw around the metal and forcing the blade of his shoulder inside. With a hard enough heave, the door gave way enough that their bodies might fit.

"I'd say after you.. but.." Azure squinted into the darkness, his eyes struggling to adjust, then stopped and turned back towards her. ".. just stay close, okay?" For her, he'd make the excruciatingly stupid decision to go spelunking in an unnatural, crafted cavern. He sighed and stepped through the doorway before he could convince himself otherwise, the view of the main room opening up to them.

"Speech"

Both of Azure's ears have notches and tears.
Az has a scar across his right eye, a mirror image of his natural born marking.
Azure has saber fangs, bone spurs on his elbows and knees, and the paws/forelimbs of a bear.
Not all of these features are always reflected in his art.

Azure's companions are a very big bat and a young clouded leopard, unless otherwise stated assume they're not with him.
