Hanako's tail wagged, rather amused by the dry delivery of his quip. Azure shouldn't have been surprised, she'd explored a haunted house regardless of what her common sense told her and look at how that worked out; with her bruised and covered in her own sick from head to toe. Nasty. She was a curious thing at heart with wandering eyes and itchy paws, but there was no denying having a big strong manly-man by Azure by her side emboldened her. Made her want to make the best use of any alone time together she could scrounge up.
She leaned heavily into him as he rubbed alongside her, taking the lead as he eyed up the door with a cynical glance. Hanako on the other hand took in the view, watching the way his muscles tensed and coiled, the very picture of physical prowess. In typical Fatalis fashion, Azure made it look rather easy and was quick to heave it open so that they could both slip on inside. She hesitated for a moment, her ears flicking forward as a sense of fondness settled in the crook of her ribcage.
"Nowhere else I'd rather be." She told him with a little hum, before she ventured forth.
Starting off as a thin corridor, Hanako carefully descended the steps into the main room. It took the pale of her eyes a moment to adjust but once they did, she couldn't help but remark how orderly it all was. She expected it all to be in a state of awry, with scavengers tossing things aside in their endless search for the next meal, but aside from the thin layer of dust everything seemed to be where it belonged. Right and proper, whatever that entailed. She approached a blocky furnishing of some sort, adorned with rectangles that were pliant and smushy to the touch. Was this some form of bedding? Jumping up onto it, Hanako bounced on her heels and was quite pleased to learn it was very comfortable.
"It's a shame it's so big, or I'd have you drag it home for me." She beamed with a smile that lit up all of her features. Her tail waved a white blur behind her, as her coat remained a welcomed burst of colour amongst the dark and grey of the bunker.
