treat me right, buy me shoes

Oh wow, Hanako really liked the sound of his laughter. Azure was usually so stiff and serious, putting on a front of strength and authority, but knowing he was comfortable enough even here to let go like this made Hanako feel all warm and fuzzy inside. As if she wasn't already hot enough as it was. She bounced high only to flop down onto her belly, limbs extended as she laid there, the very image of ease relaxation. And yes, maybe she was doing it on purpose, wanting to draw him in close like a Venus flytrap. But maybe it was just part of her all natural charm, who knew? Hanako certainly wasn't going to say.
She rested her chin all dainty on her front paws and eyed him through her lashes.
"What can I say? I like having my needs met." Comfort wasn't really a need and they hadn't been on their paws for long enough to warrant a rest, but shhhh.
Letting his silence slide, she pushed herself to her paws with an overly dramatic and world-weary huff. She was quick to return to his side, brushing the length of her body against his as she overtook him and peered into one of the many rooms that branched off the main path. There was no way to know for certain what this place had been used for but the longer they remained here, the more it reminded her of the Armada's pantry. Less waterlogged of course, but the level of meticulous organisation was the same.
This room was much smaller than the last and though as a wolf she didn't recognise what furniture was for, the bedding neatly folded atop the metallic framey-thing made it easy for Hanako to make an educated guess. Yet another bed. Well it wasn't like she was going out of her way to find some and wiggle her brows at Azure. It was all just happenstance is all, a happy accident. That didn't stop Hanako from tossing a smug look Azure's way though.
Forgoing the bed for now, she instead approached the wooden construct that stood to the opposite side of the room. It had an old, earthy sort of smell intertwined with a note of something that reminded Hanako of resin. She pulled open a draw and had a peep inside, only to wrinkle her nose when she found nothing of interest. She side eyed Azure again, finding the sight of him in the dim light far more interesting than any bit of old wood or metal.
"Did Sirius tell you? I did so much fishing."
