Over Protection

Back and forth the pair of women went, biting and harrying the cat. Blood poured from the wounds on its hips but there was still a lot of fight in it. Baz dove forward, latching his teeth into the feline's face while Avaset locked her jaws around one front paw. Eska took the opportunity to attack the front end as well. With the dogs keeping most of the lion's attention, Eska slammed down onto the cat. Her teeth bit into the side of its neck and she began thrashing her head back and forth, fangs ripping holes in the tawny pelt. The lion screamed and scrambled, kicking off of the ground with its hind paws and dislodging Eska. She fell backwards into the ground, the muscles in her neck screaming.
