Hanako let out a pleased hum as Azure pressed close, blurring the lines and making it hard to say where he ended and Hanako began. He could feign interest in the drawer as much as he pleased, Hanako knew what he was playing at and was more than happy to go with the flow. She'd moved her pieces across the board, and now it was his turn, would he engage or retreat? She greedily took in the timbre of his voice, deep and rumbling, as it permeated her system like a tasteless poison. And Hanako rather foolishly wanted another taste.

"Mmm, I'm glad you agree." She agreed with an airy laugh. It was selfish really, that she was fishing for compliments after doing the bare minimum. But she'd never see it that way, always the seeking to be the exception to everyone else's rules.

His voice dipped even lower and Hanako couldn't hold back the shiver that tingled down her spine, ending with a twitch of her tail. Some reasonable part of her knew she wasn't playing fair, that maybe she should lessen up and give him a break, but Azure wasn't either and made a point of doubling down. They both liked the chase so the thought of cutting it short now was laughable, not even worth considering.

"Oh you're so generous." She paused for a beat, thinking. " And what can I do to meet yours?"

She shifted a little, shimmying back into him as she flicked her ears aside, giving him the space to do as he pleased.

Before she even gave him the chance to respond, Hanako  darted aside and out of his reach, bouncing light on her paws as she trotted out of the room and further down the hall. As if it would be that easy. If all the rooms were like the last she had little interest in slowing the pace to explore them one by one. She soon came upon what appeared to be another common room, this one with a long table in the centre with several chairs tucked in neatly beneath it.
