Mortis duked under the branches and moved close to the trunk of the tree. The snow filled branches did seem to help block out the wind and some of the chill. He was already considering the issue of starting them a warm fire, and how they would be going without dinner when Azure spoke.

He glanced up at his brother, and hesitated a moment. Not sure how to put those six months into words. “I took a hiatus from the Armada” had Azure known about that?
