Hika called him silly, which only added to his frustration. He knew he wasn’t doing a good job of verbalising what he meant. He didn’t know how to put into words this maybe silly vision he had of what his future might look like.
He sighed, looking across at the white wolf, who pointed out his desire to train. He wanted to see Hika grow, to develop interest, and memories, and laugh amongst the other wolves of the Armada. He did like to see Hika happy, but he couldn’t help the twisting feeling in his gut that told him he would make Hika miserable.
