They had many travelers through the gulley especially while winter was coming along. Most of the wolves that traveled through though had edged away from their camp and around the other areas of the plains.

Duchess had been feeling much better in pregnancy, but she was becoming a lot to carry. She was starting to take walks daily, scouting for some herbs to stock pile on. She may have felt like a burden and that everyone hated her but she was still trying her best to provide for them while she could. She took Segin's advice to heart, it would take a little recovery after giving birth. So when she spotted a man ahead digging a pit, she grew interest and assumed he was setting a trap for a kill. A man as large as him would make it easier to help her, and yeah that was mostly selfish. But honestly, if he wanted to take all the spoils from the kill, she would let him. She was really just looking for things to just pass time now a days.

"Did you want some help?" She asked quietly as she approached, a small smile on her lips. With Draco gone, she didn't feel much of a threat anymore. And besides, maybe putting her down was a favor to everyone, including herself if this man would threaten her.
