Kill It n' Grill It

The woman dug, but she didn't push herself by any means. It didn't bother Oxx any. He would have been digging this pit by himself otherwise. At least this way it would go a tiny bit faster. He continued to push dirt out behind him as he dug, kicking it away from the pit with his hind paws when necessary.

As the fae spoke, stating that she could take care of herself, the man actually stopped digging in order to laugh. He gave his head a shake, eyebrows lifting, before he went back to digging. "You keep telling yourself that, sweetheart, just don't start believing it." Oxx snorted as he pushed more deeply into the earth. "I could end your life right now if I chose to and there wouldn't be anything that you could do about it."

Having decided that the hole was large enough, Oxx proved his point and scooped the black and purple fae into his massive arms. He deposited her outside of the pit before leaping up onto the grass beside her. "Can the lady run or would she rather sit and put up her paws?" Yeah, he was going to fucking tease her. Why wouldn't he?
