Catch and Don't Release

With no arguments, the purple dame came and settled down beside him in the long grass. Together, they inspected the grazing herd out on the plain. There were several of the creatures, their stripes playing tricks on his eyes. Once they were running though, it wouldn't be a problem. With the pair of giants on their tails, the horses wouldn't have a chance.

The woman spoke, asking after a plan. Her wording brought soft laughter from the brute and his mouth split in an even wider grin. "My lady... Fast and Bloody is the only way to live." Rising, he lifted one paw elegantly and motioned her along the pathway that would take them behind the herd. "Shall we?"

Quietly and carefully, the behemoth pushed his way through the long grass until it gave way to the short grass of the prairie. He picked his way along the hills and curves of the land, using the natural landscape to his advantage to keep hidden until the last minute. He cast his shark-like gaze to the woman beside him and nodded. Once he was sure that she was ready as well, the giant pushed off. Once they were running and the herd split, they could choose their target and take it down with brute force.
