He scoffed a little and plopped down onto his haunches when Onyx told him she was just tired of seeing the same pine trees every day. "You can say that again," he agreed with a sigh, glancing out over the boring, plain tundra around them. The spaced out pine trees were just a short distance behind them over the pack border, the wall acting as a barrier between the pack and the rest of Boreas to the south. Not that it was much of a barrier considering how weak and crumbling it was, but it still wrapped around their pack's border all the same. Even the wall wasn't really all that interesting, but in comparison to seeing the same exact trees over and over it was still slightly more interesting.
"It's not like my dad's even around to tell me not to go anywhere," he grumbled, kicking a small rock that was near his paw and watching it bounce away. "I might as well just leave... It's not like he'd notice." He just left out of the blue like it was nothing so why couldn't he? He didn't really know where he'd go though even if he did leave which might be the only reason he hadn't ventured out farther than the places just past the border. Maybe he'd go back down to Ashen some time and try to find that pretty girl with the long tail again... She had been fun to tease at least.
