Bite in the butt

Manea briefly glanced toward Alastor as he darted off to catch and torment another of the beasts, but she let her gaze lock onto one of the other wild asses instead as it darted away from her husband and accidentally into her reach instead. With a wicked grin she leapt back to her paws, kicking up sand as she jumped into a hard run across the dune to catch up with her prey and once she was running along side it she pushed off the sand so that she could hook her claws deep into its back near its hips, earning her some of those pained brays as it stumbled and struggled to keep going with her added weight yanking it down to the ground. Her claws dug deep enough to scrape against the bone of the ass' spine before she wrangled it down onto the ground. Releasing its back she instead digging her claws into its round stomach while it flailed and struggled under her to try and get back up, but before it could manage she ripped her razor sharp claws all across the width of its stomach, pouring blood and guts out onto the sand. She hopped back and chuckled as it got to its hooves, but only for a moment before collapsing again, repeating the process a couple more times before finally giving up and quickly succumbing to the vicious wounds she had left it with.
