who what when where and why?

While he was lost in some of his own thoughts, Sirius spoke and Magnus only caught the end, asking him what he remembered last. He really couldn't remember much, actually, so he remained quiet for a few long moments as he tried to recall. It was a distant memory, one he hardly could place, though he would try to put it into words anyway. The vision was blurry at best, but from what he could remember he did his best to explain.

"It was cold, but not north cold. I was.. in a forest, or a jungle maybe? I don't know, it was wet." It was really all he could remember, unfortunately. He spoke of the time he and Sirius first met, but of course before that even. "I'm sure that's not really helpful, but it's all I got." Magnus frowned. He wondered if there was any way he could regain the memory he had lost, or if it would be lost and he'd have to start over. Perhaps if he knew all that he'd forgotten, he wouldn't want to remember.
