The move to the island had gone smoothly. They'd left a lot behind, but Chimera decided that they didn't need it. Everything that they needed, the island would provide. He would provide. And speaking of providing, the giant man had been off hunting. The island was full of small game and a few larger game animals, though they were elusive. Chimera had managed to surprise a big, fat rabbit, cutting off its escape by running it into one of the buildings. With the creature dead, he made his way towards the place that he had claimed as his den.

In an old wooden structure at the center of the island, Chimera had prepared his living space before the move even took place. He had cleared out the massive building and had reinforced any areas that looked as though they might be crumbling or not structurally sound. A few trips back and forth between islands had been made, so the large sleeping chamber that he had crafted was stocked full of furs for Viper and Cerberus. There was another chamber not too far off that was prepared as well for Aliana.

After the move, Viper seemed to be settling in well enough. She lacked the energy that she once had, but the black and white man thought this was something natural for mothers after birth. With the hare in his maw, the brute pushed through the swinging doorway. Sunlight from outside filtered through the wooden windows, illuminating the space. He presented the rabbit to Viper then moved into the large expanse of furs and sprawled out beside her. "How are you feeling?" Peering over her side, he looked at the small black and russet bundle beside her. "And the boy?"

"Chimera" -- "Viper"
