Jynn hoped to cross westward north of the Sea's Plains but instead, when she hit the Tallgrass Plains, she realized this section of territory was also claimed by the Armada. She huffed. Ok, well, they'd just have to keep heading north until they could get around this pack. Jynn gazed out across the field of tall green grass that was punctuated here and there with delicate pink and red flowers.
The sky was another story though. Gray clouds stretched out ahead, dark towers to the left and right and in front of her, however, the late morning sun still managed to punctuate right through the clouds, a white and gold burst of light. She barely had a moment to revel before the rain started pouring down. "Aw, crap."
