Tall, Grassy and Rainy

As amusing as the warlords paranoid accusations were, Álarr chose to focus on the fight at hand. If his mouth was used for anything it would be to deal damage. Did the warlord even realize that his actions today could likely bring the very thing he feared? Had he not attacked, Álarr would've simply carried on his merry way and returned to Fireside. Now there was the risk for retaliation, for if Álarr did not return his family would no doubt retaliate. And the Imperialis were not known for their benevolence.

Álarr shifted as Sirius did. As the warlord pulled his neck to the side the Fireside wolf moved for the ligaments in Sirius left shoulder. He felt Sirius' fangs dig into the scruff of the back of his neck, halfway between his head and shoulders. The pain was instant and intense as those long fangs pierced through flesh but Álarr channeled that pain into his retaliation. His jaws dove gracefully for the top of Sirius left shoulder, where the ligaments that held the trapezius muscle together were located. He attempted to dig in his fangs in an attempt to sever those ligaments and cripple his opponents movement. As he did he pulled his hind in close, keeping his defenses set and his tail tucked. In doing so he unwittingly pulled himself out of the way of Sirius bladed attack for the back of his knee.
