The pallas cat continued to snicker. "That only works if the owner of that border is sane as well and gives a crap in the first place. You could've just as easily been snatched up at Fireside's border. No one owes it to you to be fair now quit squirming." Álarr opened his mouth to shoot a retort at the cat, but his words faltered so instead he positioned himself up against the wall with his butt facing the cat and his horns up against the dirt. He was in terrible pain not only from the wound in his neck but his chest as well and he was just not in the mood to be lectured. Afi was not in the mood to deal with his moping. The cat climbed up on the wolf's back and began to tend to the wound in his neck.
