It was a good thing Hanako had come here with an empty stomach, as surely she would have started to feel sick by now. He gave her shoulder a nudge, tilting her back and forth as the momentum grew with each swing. Her vision blurred with the stubborn colours of late autumn- or rather early winter- and her brows furrowed. She knew if she made a fuss and protested he'd just hoist her higher, but just about seeing that smug look on his face made her wonder if he'd just go ahead and do that anyway.

It was a tightrope to walk, one that was wobbling equally as much as the line that had her suspended. The prospect of scoffing apples didn't seem quite so tempting any more, funny that.

"I'd really appreciate it if you didn't. It's kinda starting to hurt." Ligaments and tendons were being pulled in ways they weren't supposed to hold for long, being as prissy as she was she didn't tolerate discomfort much. "How've you been?" On face value it seemed like an empty attempt at small talk, but in reality they really hadn't seen each other in ages. A lot had shifted since then.
