Dagrún felt Skadi's paws push off her and realized that her gambit wasn't going to pay off but she quickly rallied. As she fell she pulled in her legs and swiftly rolled onto her back. As she did she kept her neck scrunched and her tail tucked up over her belly. As her sister pounced on her Dagrún pulled her hind legs up close to her chest and attempted to intercept her sister's attack by kicking the smaller girl in the chest as forcefully as she could and launch her sister off of her to give her time to get back to her feet. If she failed she'd just have to try wrestling her sister to the ground but she was eager to avoid more bites and scratches if she could. She didn't want to have to go visit a healer for her scrapes and bruises.
