Cala grunted as she saw him fall out of the corner of her eye. She did feel a twinge of guilt - he was young. But he was here at the Battlefield; it was a fair fight. She just needed to get some of this excess energy out. It had festered and stewed for so long. This spar finally felt like the beginning of a release. No Ashen wolves hid at the corner of her vision, judging her combat skills with impassive stares. No. She only had to meet her own expectations here. Even if those expectations were currently quite low. Tyrfing regained his balance quickly and aimed a blow for her shoulder. Her slightly smaller size worked in her favor. Calamity dropped her shoulder briefly, stumbling as she did so. His teeth glanced off the top curve of her shoulder. It wasn't a full bite, but she felt the tender skin stretched tight across the bone of her shoulder bruise. Skidding in the dirt, Calamity gathered her paws back underneath herself and used the momentum to whip around so she now faced his rear. With a sly grin, she reached out to grab at the base of his tail and pull him back on to his butt in a sitting position.
