She had traveled to her surprise rather far in a short amount of time. She had thought, with her new wounds, she would be going slow. If it was not for Cael she probably would have en dead by now. She had taken great care of the long deep scratches on her side and remembered what plants to use like Cael told her. Pale russet female shook out her fur, hairs seeming to catch the sunlight and glint like embers. This place was rather hot to say the least, but her thin coat made it bearable. Silver and lavender eyes scanned the bay. It was a sudden scent that grabbed her attention and pulled her towards the shore. She had never smelled anything like this. It made her mouth water, tainted though with salt. Carefully she treaded down the coastline. A huge gray hunk of something laid on the shore. Bird flocked all over it, seagulls, crows and possibly an eagle. All kinds of bird that she knew ate meat. Head tilted to the side as she narrowed her eyes What the heck was it though!? It was far larger than a bear, nearly 4 times that size!

Paws bought her up to the obviously dead carcass. Nose wiggled trying to sort out what this thing was. An animal no doubt with fins kinda like a fish but soo much more sturdier. It was all one color gray like heavy rain storms ready to unleash their burden. Jaws parted to test the skin of the monstrous thing. Surely it was safe to eat it the birds were going crazy over it. The skin was tough and thick. The tiny wolf growled and started to tug fiercely at the beached whale. She needed the meat, her body craved for protein, the all the essentials needed to stay alive and help her recover from her wounds. Backing away she reared up placing front paws on the whale. "Alright you thing..." She grumbled before grabbing at it again and yanking as much as she could. It would not last long, the left side where her wounds were screamed in agony. But the pain only made her angry and desperate. So engrossed in trying to rip the belly of the beast she would never notice any company that might come. Surely if the birds could peck at this thing she could rip it open right?
