A Garden Of Plenty

Bowen closed her eyes and breathed deeply of the night air. The crickets sang and she heard the hoot of a hidden owl. Typical night sounds. All of them soothing. Orange ears perked as Jynn spoke of the feeling of nostalgia. Bo nodded in agreement. "Nights like this make me think of nights on the ship. The gentle rocking waves of the sea. The sweet, salty smell of the ocean. There were no crickets or owls, but there are other nighttime sounds on the sea." Had Jynn ever been on a ship?

With a sigh and a stretching, the smaller woman rolled onto her back, swinging her body from side to side and kicking her paws as if trying to scratch an itch. Really, she was just warming up her body so that they could get going again. Rolling to her paws, Bowen nodded. "That was enough of a break for me. We can continue if you're ready." With a smile, she motioned for the leggy fae to lead the way.
