A snake will always win a battle against a mouse. It matters not how smart or strong the mouse may be. Eventually, it will tire - physically, emotionally - bred to forever fear itself and the outside world. So if I were to choose between being a snake or a mouse, I would gladly be seen as the enemy. At least then I would have myself and my family to love and if they did not deserve that love, then I would strike them down with my own pride. You do not need a crown, to be your own king. |
