Avian Air

Jynn was glad to get out of that awful, dry strip of land and into a place more hospitable. The place she found herself in now was almost the opposite of the dry strip, it was a place rich with life. Jynn stared out at the pale and slate blue waters of a marshland full of bird life. She noted swans, egrets and blue herons snatching up frogs and small fish. The heron stood gracefull on one of the many little islands of marsh grass before walking a short way into the water in its search for prey. There were a number of colorful song birds flitting too and fro in the sky. The sky was a dull blue, cloudy with only one spot where the sun was shining through. A reminder of winter.

Her attention was immediately drawn to a large willow tree in the middle of one of the larger islands and she started heading toward it, skipping across the islands.
