All the raven had to do was tell her that Artorias had been attacked and seriously injured and she dropped everything to be with him. She didn't wait to tell anyone where she was going, she didn't check to see if she could go. She just started running. It wasn't a raven she recognized, but a quick explanation of him being sent by Bowen cleared that up well enough. There wasn't time or space in her mind to consider the fact that the sister he had been lusted for was with him. Worry and fear shoved every other thought away as she raced away from Armada's lands, her legs carrying her as fast as they could go to Auster. She was cursing every mile that laid between her and Artorias in that moment and part of her wanted to beg her father to let her leave to join The Hallows sooner rather than later. She didn't like living apart form him as it was, but this situation just proved to her how detrimental it was. She couldn't be there when he needed her, she hadn't been there to help him. Her jaw tensed at the thought and she pushed herself harder, a blur as she crossed the bifrost and cut through the wild berry grove.

She didn't stop at the border and decided it was better to ask for forgiveness than permission as she crossed through the starlit plains up to the castle. By the time she made it up to the large castle doors every muscle burned from the wild race to get here and she was gasping air into her lungs, staggering to a stop as she stepped into the foyer. She knew her way around the castle very well from the time she spent here so she immediately started heading toward the infirmary. She didn't know for sure that's where he would be, but if he was really as hurt as it sounded he was then she couldn't imagine he would be anywhere else. When she rounded the corner into the hallway that would take her there her turquoise gaze landed on a small white and caramel marked woman with vibrant emerald eyes that was standing in the hall outside of the infirmary. Briar didn't really want to stop, her trembling legs making her worry that she might collapse if the didn't keep moving, but it seemed like maybe this woman was here for a reason. She walked up to her while still trying to catch her breath, giving her a questioning look until it clicked in her head. "You're... You're Bowen...?" she managed after a moment, settling back onto her haunches with a worried glance toward the infirmary door. "Art...?"
