somebody go get the coroner, there's been a mishap

Having recently claimed the island that now belonged to Fenmyre, there were items that Chimera's new home needed. The odd items that he tended to enjoy could be found in the odd structures that could be found scattered around Boreas and Auster. There was one place that he knew in particular that held several of these strange buildings and it was on another island. Chimera's muscled form cut through the cold waters, his powerful legs shifting rhythmically until wide paws met the shore. He'd spent the majority of the day scouring the island and had a decent haul to take back to Fenmyre.

By the time he was finished inspecting the structures, the day was rather late. So, rather than swimming a pile of treasures across the water in the dark, he decided to stay on the island for the night. The two-toned beast left his haul on the beach, knowing that no one would touch it. Chimera hadn't encountered another wolf the entire time that he was on the island. With the air being as cold as it was, it would be stupid to sleep on the beach with his items. Instead, he trekked back into the island, deciding which building he'd like to utilize to keep himself out of the elements this night.

The golden flicker of firelight drew Chimera's attention immediately as he padded through the ever darkening island. The beasts eyes narrowed momentarily. A fire might be nice, he decided. Adjusting his course, the chimeric brute moved towards the firelit building. The scent of another male hit his speckled nose, but he didn't hesitate. Ducking below a piece of crumbled wall, Chimera's bulk entered the space. His eye adjusted quickly, landing on the resting form of an equally large man, curved horns adorning the top of his head. A low rumbled reverberated in Chimera's chest. "Would you mind sharing the fire?" He never asked for anything, but the other man had been here first so it was only right to ask permission.
