Made of Darkness and Fire

It was a mild enough evening that Malachai was doing something he hadn't ever really done before, going for a swim. The young Klein was bobbing in the water between the main shoreline of the pack lands and one of the nearer islands. Winter did mean that the water had a chill to it and it probably didn't help that the common snowstorms were chilling the water but this part of the continent was not prone to extreme weather... Well, maybe Malachai couldn't know that for sure considering the very first winter of his life had been extreme but he was pleased to find this winter was proving to be milder.

The young man dragged himself onto the shore of the nearer island, shaking the water from his pelt and settling down to let some strength seep back into his wet and chilled limbs.
