"I’d hike to the ends of the earth with you,” he reminded Mortis fondly. A nervous stirring rising in his belly as they departed together, a trip just for the two of them.

"You know how I feel about the cold,” He teased lightly as he suggested they were headed into the southern continent. "A bed would be nice, but I don’t mind hoofing it. Avoid the whole world for a week.” He grinned as silver eyes focused on his pale paws as their trail began to narrow.
