Mortis caught the scent of an Armada wolf as hunted near the Orchard. Curiosity got the better of him, and he turned off his path and followed the scent. It wasn’t one he knew well, but he had an inkling it was a wolf he had seen around the pack in passing. It was the sound of a bellow that sped up the boy's paws. Heir, and naturally protective, he raced into the scene. Watching the slightly smaller wolf stand his ground in front of the bear, had Mortis barrelling forward even faster. He let loose a snarl of his own, flaring his wings for balance as he used his momentum and leaped up the back of the bear. Snarling all the way. |
