You couldn't kill me if you tried
She had succeeded in sending him flying over her head, and she had to admit, she was surprised that her maneuver had worked! As he stumbled to his feet, she took the opportunity to get back to hers, an excited grin on her face and a twinkle in her silver-hued eyes. He came running at her again, and she was already moving. While they were both the same height, she was a dancer on her toes and quicker than him it seemed. She couldn't help the playful smile that appeared, pearly whites flashing for a brief moment.
When he reached with his paws to grab her in a hug, she planted her hind legs firmly into the ground and rose up as tall as she could. Forelegs outstretched, she caught his horns in a firm hold, her felid-claws unsheathed for a better grip. Pressing her weight forward, she was only pushed back a few, short inches before she managed to stop him in his tracks.
They stood stock-still. Eye to eye. Just a breath apart. The eyes of a storm locked with those of fire. Her muzzle dangerously close to his. If she wanted to, she could reach out and lick his nose if she so chose. But she didn't. Instead, another playful smile flashed at him, that same twinkle in her eye dancing in her gaze. While she was mostly inexperienced in battle, she was sure they both knew who the winner of their spar was. He could keep trying, but she had control of his head, and there wasn't really anywhere else for him to go.
"Do you give up yet?" She lightly teased before releasing him. She dropped back to all fours as she shook the dirt from her fur, tail wagging with excitement as she stepped back to allow him room. "C'mon, now that that's outta the way I wanna go see some stuff!" She chirped before turning and leading the way to somewhere else without waiting for an answer. In her mind, this meant they were friends now. At least, that's how her and Ardyn ended up meeting and becoming friends, so this must be how it works, right?
