As the large male squared off with him, Gil noticed the horns brandishing the crest of his head. Well, that's new. The thought barely crossed his mind before powerful legs were pushing off toward him. Without a moment's notice, his own body was leaping into action. Realizing with wide yellow eyes that his opponent intended on using said horns as a weapon, he was going to try anything to prevent them from gouging his chest. On a dime as fresh snow scattered around them, his mottled body twisted. There was no escaping the attack, but he could at least decide where it went. One breath later, the air was being knocked from his lungs as a piercing pain shot through his right shoulder. Maybe there was a cracking noise, maybe it was just his teeth clacking together as his world went blind. Blinking harshly, he reacted quickly, knowing he had to do something or he'd lose. Taking advantage of the seconds where Hattori's horns were slicing into his skin, Gil leaned into it. Painful, yes, but it would be worth it if it bought him time. In the same motion, he raised his head, pulling back as his mouth opened. Hurriedly reaching back with teeth aiming straight for Hattori's ear, he hoped to make contact. While a weak attack, it might surprise the other enough to get him to back off.
