"Gossy!" Mort cried in distress, watching as his sister went down. Wondering, now that it was too late to change things, if it had been a mistake to leave his sister to fight the enemy alone. Grimacing at the pain shooting through his wings, he gave the cart one last angry shove. Cracking wood beneath his paw as he jumped over the rubble to race towards Gossy. He wanted to get to his sister, but that fire-starting maniac was in his way. He gave Gossys prone body a pained look, and then dove into battle.

Racing towards Pyralis with his heart hammering in his chest. Feeling frustration and bewilderment that this wolf would come here with the intent of hurting their pack, his sister. Hurting them. Why? What if the fire had raged out of control, destroying their grassy territory? What if the pups had gotten caught in the blast? He couldn’t fathom it. He couldn’t fathom a wolf that would have such little consideration for the lives of others.

He didn’t bother with words, he needed only to repel this danger from their pack. He unsheathed his claws, as he aimed to slam his left shoulder into the intruding wolf’s right shoulder, and attempted to slash the claws on his right paw across the other wolfs left paw/
