Below Ground

Jynn had been looking to navigate around the moor and the pack to make her way safely into Auster. However, the thick mist that veiled the moor set her off course. Where she expected to find one of her trail markers she found nothing. In an effort to recover the trail she found herself in a strange, underground cave. A human cave. That much she could tell from the straight walls of the place. Beams of moonlight managed to reach the floor, slipping through holes in the ceiling. What was particularly strange were the square holes in the walls, all evenly cut and spaced. Stranger still were pots of plants in each of these holes, still growing green.

Jynn stepped over a branch that lay on the floor then froze, fur on end. On either side of the wall to the north were skeletons embedded upright into the wall. Skeletons unlike any she'd ever seen. Could these be humans?
