Lukina eyed the course, trying to get an idea of what laid ahead. Her opponent soon showed and she smiled politely. "Hi, I'm Lukina. You too!" She didn't notice he was blind and turned her attention back to the race just glad that her opponent seemed nice. She didn't like racing wolves that would lord it over her if they won and minimize her victory if she came out on top. This boy seemed well-grounded. Lukina readied herself and when the signal to start was given she sprang forward. Sand flew threw the air as she ran, her paws kicking it up as she sought to keep her traction and navigate down the beach. On her side a large chunk of drift wood was caught on the shore. Lukina swiftly jumped over it and continued to run.
